At the end of 2017 and beginning of 2018 is when Emma and Dakota met. They had mutual friends which ended them becoming in contact with each other. They exchanged numbers, and wrote letters back and forth since he was in basic training. They were starting to become the best of friends. He ended up getting hurt, that meant he was home for good. So they started to hang out at her house, which led to their first actual date at El Rodeo. There was no awkwardness, no being shy, they just clicked and could've talked all night the first time they hung out just them two.
